The Strategic Advisors of the WU Executive Club

Who is in the IAB?

Former students can get involved as members of the IAB for an agreed period of time and terms. Currently, the IAB counts 20 members with diverse specializations, different industries & genders. They meet twice a year and built work groups for specific themes.

Why does the IAB exist?

The main task of the IAB is to guide the WU Executive Club with strategic advice. As representatives at community celebrations and graduations they might hold a speech, they support community projects and are involved in accreditation visits and quality management issues. IAB members represent community interests across different specializations and cohorts within the Executive Club. Furthermore, they help WU Executive Club to build an excellent global network, to create a fertile soil for lifelong learning and career development, and by doing so support the WU remaining a leading university. As a multiplier IAB will enhance the level of community engagement by promoting events within the network. This requires a regular use of the platform WU EA Connect. The IAB also gathers information on exclusive job offers and career development possibilities for the community.

How can I get engaged as a member of IAB?

As a motivated and engaged alumni, interested in getting involved in the IAB, please contact us for further information and to apply at: wuexecutiveclub(at)wu.ac.at. The selection criteria include the aspects of your willingness to engage in the community, readiness to invest some time, minimum event attendance, and motivational statement, as well as your CV. The current members elect the new members in an application process.
