7 Facts on Hybrid Work and Digitization

Our Global Executive MBA alumnus, Jochen Borenich, is the CEO of Austria's largest IT company, Kapsch BusinessCom AG. In a recent interview with Forbes, the book author and digitization expert revealed 7 interesting facts on hybrid work and digitization:

1. Corona was an accelerator for change - nearly every company is digitalizing at the moment.

2. Therefore, also cybersecurity is a key issue for everyone.

3. It's becoming more central again to have the know-how back in one's own country.

4. Technology is transforming not only the economy, but society as a whole, the way we live, work, and communicate.

5. We are experiencing the so-called 'Amazon effect': everything must be easily communicated, operable, and available 24/7.

6. By 2025, 80% of customer interactions will be digital.

7. Hybrid working is here to stay. 98% of meetings in the future, at least one participant or attendee will be present virtually. The office is thus becoming more of a place for meeting and creative exchange.
