33 graduates, 16 countries, 1 goal: Strengthening Europe's public procurement - final conference at the Ministry of Finance.

Professionalization of public procurement in Europe

On May 12, the second round of the Public Procurement Excellence Program, which is conducted by the WU Executive Academy in cooperation with Bundesbeschaffung GmbH (BBG), ended with the closing conference and graduation ceremony at the Ministry of Finance. Representatives of the European Commission and international experts discussed the latest developments, trends and best practices in the field of public procurement. All sides emphasized the importance of this EU funded training program for the professionalization of public procurement in Europe.

At the same time, the conference marked the end of the five-week program, which began in September 2021 and was largely conducted online due to the pandemic. The 33 graduates from 16 different countries were all the happier that the graduation could take place in a festive setting at the Ministry of Finance with representatives of the European Commission, the BBG and the WU Executive Academy.
