Free AMBA membership

February 04, 2016

Students enrolled in and graduates of one of the WU Executive Academy's MBA programs will, from now on, be eligible to join the online community of the Association of MBAs (AMBA) for free.

The exclusive online portal of the Association of MBAs (AMBA) provides a forum for linking the more than 200 business schools from over 70 countries that offer AMBA-accredited MBA programs. The WU Executive Academy is the only business school in Austria to meet the association's strict quality requirements and hold the distinguished hallmark of excellence that is AMBA accreditation.

Students enrolled in and graduates of one of the following MBA programs are therefore eligible for free AMBA membership: Global Executive MBA, Executive MBA Bucharest, Executive MBA Post Graduate Management, Professional MBA.

"Given that the modern business world is becoming increasingly globalized, it is more important than ever for us to build international bridges, broaden our horizons in every possible way and explore novel career paths. We are thus absolutely delighted that our students and alumni get this unique opportunity to network with forward-looking peers from around the globe," says Prof. Bodo B. Schlegelmilch, Dean of the WU Executive Academy. "The benefits of belonging to such an exclusive community will undoubtedly act as an added incentive for prospective MBA students to choose one of our AMBA-accredited programs," he continues.

A free career booster

AMBA's community provides access not only to useful contacts and a wide variety of networking events but also to a career network with jobs for MBA alumni, which members can apply for directly online. Moreover, they can advance their careers by taking advantage of training videos, tutorials, career services and interactive multimedia tools. An MBA news feed featuring carefully selected career articles and global business stories helps members stay up to date. And the Global AMBAssador program, which is another undoubted community highlight, offers them excellent job prospects.
