What will you contribute to the MBA “Strategic Project Management”?

Many companies and organizations have started to introduce or at least experiment with agile practices and agile frameworks, and some have achieved Business Agility. Consequently, it is essential for (Project) Managers to learn basics about agile principles and practices, understand the differences to project management and realize how hybrid set-ups can create benefits.
 

The experience I have gained in project management, with agile practices as well as in hybrid set-ups enables me to share practical hands-on knowledge with the students and go into a mutual exchange with them.

Why do you think Strategic Project Management is important?

Project management is essential for the operationalization of organizations’ strategies. Strategic Project Management requires a holistic perspective and smooth communication on all and with all levels from strategy to delivery of a project or product.
 

A broad holistic perspective on stakeholders, teams, customers and users is also a prerequisite for successful introduction of agile practices.
