This Program is taught in German only.
The part-time bachelor’s degree program offers you advanced professional education with a focus on business administration, considering various disciplines and industries. It is designed for individuals with work experience who seek education and training at bachelor’s level with a focus on business management and a high level of application orientation in parallel to their career.
After completing the course, graduates can successfully apply fundamental concepts of business administration. The program specifically teaches skills in marketing and sales, accounting, financial management, human resources management, business organization, and corporate management.
In addition to the main focus of the bachelor’s degree in business administration, you have the opportunity to choose a specialization that deepens your specialist knowledge and corresponds with your professional goals:
The "Practice-oriented Business Administration" degree course focuses on practical business knowledge and methods as well as economic, legal and psychological content. Students gain an understanding of the various effects of entrepreneurial decisions and develop the ability to act with foresight within the framework of complex business processes due to the variety of subject areas.
Students are enabled to work independently on complex technical projects in an entrepreneurial context and to manage them. They learn to take responsibility for decisions even in unpredictable work or learning contexts, which strengthens their ability to adapt flexibly and act successfully in different situations.
The aim of the part-time bachelor’s degree is also for students to develop the ability to deal responsibly and critically with the actions of individual employees and entire teams in the context of management tasks. They also learn to give constructive feedback in order to actively contribute to the development of employees.
Students train to present content in a way that is appropriate to the target group and situation, in particular problem analysis. They acquire the ability to identify business management fields of action and develop appropriate solutions. Furthermore, they learn to discuss complex subject-specific concepts and derive comprehensible proposals for preparing decisions.
Participants develop the ability to recognize the interfaces between business administration, law, society and ecology and to determine the well-founded interaction of these systems. They also learn how to deal appropriately with interdisciplinary challenges and develop suitable solutions for specific situations.
The aim is to develop strategies and implementation plans for the further development of processes in organizations and for overcoming challenges. This includes the incorporation of analysis results and the consideration of stakeholders and interdisciplinary framework conditions, including legal, sustainability and social aspects.
We enable students to make evidence-based and comprehensible decisions in complex and unfamiliar situations, including different perspectives and innovative approaches to solutions.
The aim is also to reflect on one's own actions in a professional context and to develop an independent position based on critical analysis and scientifically sound evidence.
The modular structure of the part-time bachelor’s degree program enables students to complete a challenging course alongside their everyday working life. We design the didactic approach with block courses. Tailor-made learning methods are used during classes, ranging from interactive case studies and business simulations to individual presentations.
The WU Executive Academy also offers the possibility of recognizing complementary subjects from previous studies to support your individual educational path. Our advisors are available to support you in choosing your field of study and to answer any questions you may have.
The bachelor’s degree program is specially tailored to the requirements of working professionals:
