Feeling very happy, fortunate, and thrilled, (three emotions at the same time, I've counted, trust me) to have started the GEMBA.
It has been an amazing experience, and incredible opportunity to learn from the lecturers and fellow students.
While it does add significant obligations to my existing responsibilities, it has brought additional motivation and energy through so many new perspectives and has enriched my approach to business and my worldview in general.
I would also like to devote a special passage the fellow students, as they have all contributed so much, in so little time.
The WU Vienna University of Economics and Business is one of Europe's leading universities and can look back on over 100 years of excellence in executive education. We are proud to have received the prestigious triple accreditation from AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS, which is reflected in the outstanding quality of our executive education. This has also been recognized in international rankings:
Top 40: QS World University Ranking
Top 45: Financial Times European Business School Ranking
Our Global Executive MBA is one of only a few programs worldwide to receive the prestigious triple accreditation from AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS. The outstanding quality of our program was recently reavaluated by the Financial Times & the Economist, which ranked it among the top programs worldwide.

Especially in the highly competitive and innovation-driven IT and telecommunications industry, it was very difficult to find an MBA program to suit my ambitious educational needs as a senior manager. The didactic design, international focus and outstanding faculty sustainably enriched my professional career.

Kerstin Knapp
After successfully working in the field of HR for many years, I decided to deepen my portfolio of competencies outside this area. That is why I chose the Global Executive MBA program. The program provided me with the necessary knowledge and competencies to look at human capital in a more holistic and strategic way to provide added value to every organization.
On average, our students spend about 15-20 hours per week working on the content. We recommend investing 2-3 hours a day.
Although our Executive MBA is challenging, it is designed for working executives. That's why students can access our online forums from their smartphones or tablets, giving them the flexibility to manage their workloads on the go, whether they're on their way to work, on a lunch break, or traveling around the world.
