Shape your future with the Master Social Innovation & Management – a part-time program that leads you to a Master of Science (MSc) degree in just 14 months. Expand your knowledge in social innovation, strategic management, and impact measurement while gaining practical skills to drive sustainable change.

The flexible program structure allows you to immediately apply your newly acquired knowledge in your professional environment. Six compact block sessions, held both on the WU campus and online, make it easy to combine the program with your career. This way, you remain fully operational in your daily work while enhancing your technical expertise and leadership skills. The program emphasizes cooperative learning, encouraging forward-thinking and collaborative knowledge development. You’ll engage with experienced experts and peers, gaining insights into ethical standards, governance, and the real-world relevance of social innovation. By the end, you’ll expand your global network and boost your career opportunities in the field.

The Master Social Innovation & Management combines in-depth knowledge with practical insights. Over the course of six one-week modules, you will explore a wide range of topics, from innovation and social entrepreneurship to digital transformation, social finance, and the dynamics of social policy.

Furthermore, individual elective courses provide you with the opportunity to focus on areas that align with your personal interests. Field trips to leading organizations and interactions with industry professionals ensure a seamless integration of theory and practice.

Based on existing experience, current demand and educational objectives individually tailored targets are defined. The topics covered range from innovation and strategy, social entrepreneurship, marketing psychology and market research, social work and impact in a digital environment (blockchain and impact, digital citizenship, impact reporting), crowdfunding, social finance and impact investing, social politics, and conflicting institutional logics to grant proposal writing within the European framework. This master's program is structured in six week-long modules.

In addition, two electives provide the opportunity and flexibility to set individual priorities within personal interests. In order to challenge the participants´ knowledge and to enable expert discussions with successful practitioners, the program is comprised of several field trips to leading organizations.
