Assess the potential of blockchain technology for your business

In this program, you will gain a broad understanding of blockchain technology. This will empower you to make better strategic decisions when utilizing this new technology.

The WU Vienna Research Institute for Cryptoeconomics and the Austrian Blockchain Center together with experts from various industries will give you a solid overview on blockchain technology, both from theoretical and practical perspectives. You will obtain an overview of current developments and future trends as well as learn about use cases, best practices, and application examples in different industries.

At the end of the program, you will be able to assess the potential of blockchain technology for your industry and business model, as well as understand the requirements, tools, and first steps for implementing your own blockchain strategy.

Finally, you will receive a certificate from WU Executive Academy as validation of your acquired blockchain expertise.

Structure of the program

The online modules of the program focus on knowledge transfer. In this part, students will learn core and advanced concepts of blockchain technology over an intensive one-month period. The modules organized as interactive online-live sessions take a technology as well as a business perspective of the technology.

The classroom modules build on the solid knowledge basis gained in the online modules and expands it in selected areas. As in the online part, these modules integrate a technological perspective with a business-oriented perspective on blockchain with an emphasis on knowledge application.
