As one of the leading providers of executive education in Europe, the WU Executive Academy supports high potentials and managers to meet their educational goals by offering financing for its executive education programs. 

Please Note: The early bird bonus cannot be accumulated with other discounts or scholarships.

The WU Executive Academy is granting early bird discounts for applications, handed in before a certain deadline. The early bird bonus cannot be accumulated with other discounts or scholarships. 

Scholarships

Who are the scholarships for?

For many years, the WU Executive Academy has been supporting high potentials, female applicants, and other applicants with financial need to achieve their educational and career goals by offering scholarships. The scholarships are open for applicants for whom financing the tuition fee is a challenge. The committee considers the personal situation of each scholarship applicant and decides individually whether a scholarship will be awarded and in what amount. Applicants for scholarships need to be self-funded or partially sponsored by their company to a maximum of 50%. Additional eligibility criteria - besides the regular application requirements - for each scholarship can be found below.

    • Global Executive MBA | WU Executive Academy Scholarships

      In addition to financial need, the committee evaluates aspects such as: motivation, social competence and ability to work in teams, analytical skills, potential contribution to peer learning, diversity of the cohort, language proficiency, previous career track, and development potential. When two candidates have similar profiles and motivation, priority is given to the one with the larger proven financial need.

During this interview, you will have the opportunity to personally demonstrate your motivation and career goals as well as your potential contribution to the program. A committee evaluates all applications received and decides shortly after whether you will be awarded a scholarship and the amount of the scholarship.

      Need-based scholarships of up to 25% each

      Description:

      Before turning to student loans, students with financial need can look for scholarships to help close the gap between their expected contribution and their cost of attendance. The WU Executive Academy offers scholarships to applicants of any nationality who demonstrate significant difficulty in raising sufficient financing for their program.

      Selection procedure:

      The committee will evaluate the candidate’s performance in the personal interview, past record of achievements, potential contribution to peer learning, and proven financial need. The committee then decides if a scholarship will be awarded and what percentage of reduction will be granted. When two candidates have similar profiles and motivation, priority is given to the individual with the larger proven financial need.

      Partial scholarships, up to 25% of the tuition fee.

      Selection criteria:

      In addition to financial need, the committee evaluates aspects such as: motivation, social competence and ability to work in teams, analytical skills, potential contribution to peer learning, diversity of the cohort, language proficiency, previous career track, and development potential. When two candidates have similar profiles and motivation, priority is given to the one with the larger proven financial need.

      Selection process:

      After receiving your application documents, you will be invited to a personal interview. During this interview, you will have the opportunity to personally demonstrate your motivation and career goals as well as your potential contribution to the program. A committee evaluates all applications received and decides shortly after whether you will be awarded a scholarship and the amount of the scholarship.

      In addition to the general application documents, a proof of salary must be provided upon request (payslip, income statement or confirmation from the company). If you have to cope with extraordinary financial burdens (care of a family member, medical expenses, etc.), please also submit a corresponding proof of this.
