More and more companies want or need to put women in leadership positions. That's great, but are the organizations ready for it?
The phenomenon of 'glass cliff' describes situations in which women are appointed to positions even though, or precisely because, the probability of failure is high.
How can women deal with this challenge so that the professional step does not become a trap, but rather an opportunity to prove themselves and grow? What role do organizations and especially managers have to play to ensure that the promotion of their female junior managers does not become a glass cliff?
