The WU Ball 2020: the 1st event highlight of the year

In keeping with tradition, the ball of the Vienna University of Economics and Business, which took place on the 2nd weekend of the new year, marked the beginning of the Viennese ball season for the 25th time. Prof. Edeltraud Hanappi-Egger, Rector of WU, welcomed more than 3200 guests to Vienna's splendid Hofburg Palace.
Dancing, partying, networking: Reunion with friends in the WU Alumni Lounge
This time, the doors of the WU Alumni Lounge opened at 10 pm, for the first time located at the “Wintergarten”, allowing a magnificent view of the nocturnal Heldenplatz. Traditionally, the Lounge is organized every year by the WU Executive Academy in cooperation with WU Alumni for members and partners.
Thanks to the picturesque ambience, the atmosphere was excellent, not only among our alumni:

The guests certainly enjoyed the ball to the full, dancing the night away to DJ Company’s hot beats.
