Closing Conference & Graduation EU Project „Public Procurement Excellence“

On March 31, the closing conference and graduation of the Public Procurement Excellence Program took place in a festive setting in Vienna. The WU Executive Academy conducted the program for the third time in cooperation with Bundesbeschaffung GmbH (BBG).

The focus of the final conference with representatives of the European Commission and international experts was on strengthening the organizational structures of central procurement offices and the importance of innovative and sustainable public procurement. In addition to the current participants, many alumni from the previous two rounds of the Public Procurement Excellence Program came to Vienna and participated in the lively discussions. We are very pleased that the program has created a strong international network of public procurement experts who actively share best practices, challenges and other issues in public procurement in Europe.

The Public Procurement Excellence Program was initiated and financially supported by the European Commission in 2018. The program aims to promote the professionalization of public procurement professionals and to build a sustainable alumni network among participants.
