QS Executive MBA Ranking 2024: Global Executive MBA ranked #12

For the third time in a row, the Global Executive MBA has succeeded in improving its position in the QS Executive MBA Ranking. At #12, the WU Executive Academy's dual-degree flagship program is once again one of the best MBAs worldwide.

Every summer, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the leading global career and education network, publishes its Executive MBA Ranking (external link), which has been one of the most important MBA rankings worldwide for many years. The number of participating business schools is impressive, because this year, no fewer than 222 Executive MBA programs from 48 countries took part in the ranking.

In addition to the individual assessments for specific geographical regions, the QS Executive MBA Ranking includes two global assessment formats. The “Global” ranking and the “Joint Programs” ranking, which assesses MBA programs offered jointly by at least two different business schools.

QS has good reasons not to compare joint programs with stand-alone programs because they are simply different. They are more international, particularly regarding study content, faculty, and potential study visits. Especially relevant characteristics that are of growing importance in an increasingly globalized business world and they also play a major role in the Global Executive MBA at the WU Executive Academy.

Furthermore, the QS Executive MBA Ranking assesses programs based on five main categories: “Employer Reputation”, “Thought Leadership,” “Career Outcomes,” “Executive Profiles,” and “Diversity”, which are then divided into nine subcategories.

Barbara Stöttinger, Dean of the WU Executive Academy, points out that the Global Executive MBA fared particularly well in the categories most important to students.
