      This module focuses on structural developments and main drivers in oil and gas markets. Students will identify main players, their behavior over time, and their influence on supply-demand balances as well as on prices. Furthermore you will develop an approach to valuing reserves in oil and gas fields and assess the risk and opportunities faced by companies that are investing in promising but unstable countries.

      This series of lectures strengthens your knowledge of the fundamental principles of accounting in combination with major concepts in finance for national and global companies in the international financial market. When learning key controlling concepts from those two perspectives you will cover the interpretation of financial statements and traditional performance management systems.

      This course focuses also on new venture creation in a high-tech business from the view of practical experience – both within a large international company as well as an SME-start-up. Based on 3 “real-life case studies” the most important aspects of starting and growing a new international business will be presented.       The major goal of this module is to provide participants with a thorough understanding of the fundamental issues of innovation strategy as well as the strategy development process, and to provide concrete tools that assist in crafting successful innovation strategies in times where competition no longer arises only from within industry boundaries and competitive advantages no longer can be considered as being sustainable in more and more industries. Special emphasis is placed on innovation strategy in new ventures.

      This course shows that Key Account Management (KAM) is an important part of a company’s customer management strategy. KAM is positioned as a strategic approach to realize competitive advantage. It is argued that KAM is not only a sales approach but a corporate program. The course goes through the different steps required to establish and run a professional KAM program. Participants will get to know the concept in detail and will reflect the topic through practical cases and their own work experiences.

      The module seeks to highlight the theories, principles and practices of marketing communications within a managerial framework.
